Interior Design

We offer a broad range of interior design services. On many projects we specify all of the interior finishes through paint color selection. We also have a broad range of sources for hardware, plumbing fixtures, and light fixtures. We are experienced designers of custom casework and custom millwork and have worked with many cabinet manufacturers, should owners prefer to purchase "off the shelf." In all of our work we present furniture layouts and have the resources to select furnishings and window treatments. For our residential interior design clients we are accustomed to assembling an inventory of furnishings and art to be used in new spaces and we will work with this inventory as their house is designed.

We also have close associations with several interior designers who can work through all aspects of the interiors selections of the project. We are also open to working with an interior design firm recommended by a client. We ask only that they be team players and be brought into the project at the beginning, so that design direction and a truly collaborative process can be established and clearly understood by all parties. In the end, we strive for a design which is seamlessly appropriate in every aspect. William Wurster, an architect who designed wonderful homes has said, "We like an unlabored thing that looks as inevitable as something that comes out of a frying pan just right, like an omelet in France."
